Group Class Instructor

Description: We are looking to add to our small team of trainers - someone interested in expanding their positive reinforcement training skills or getting started in the dog training industry!

• The starting position is for a Group Class Instructor, teaching five group classes a week with the intention of expanding to seven group classes each week (in quantity and variety of classes) by the end of the year.

• This position is part-time primarily in the evening with some Saturday hours.

• The ideal candidate is someone interested in making a minimum 2-year commitment to SideKick Dog Training; someone interested in a training mentorship; or someone interested in becoming a full-time, certified trainer in the next few years.

Experience: On-the-job education and experience will be provided with the goal of becoming certified through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT) in the next couple of years. Some previous experience with and knowledge of canine behavior and body language is a plus!

Pay: $15/hour to start
