training services

agreement (TSA)

Please review and read the following Training Services Agreement (TSA) in its entirety. If you have any questions about any of the policies outlined in the TSA, please do not hesitate to contact SideKick Dog Training at

info@sidekick-dogtraining.com or (414) 207-8060.

SideKick Dog Training, hereinafter known as “the Company,” cannot make any guarantee regarding the outcome of any training services. Any person who owns, harbors, or keeps the dog(s), hereinafter known as “the Owner,” assumes full responsibility for the dog’s behavior during and after the training services rendered by the Company.

The Owner understands and agrees that employing the services of the Company indicates an agreement and willingness to work with the Company to learn how to train their dog and that, without full cooperation with the Company, the dog will not achieve the desired results.

PAYMENT

Acceptable forms of payment are listed below:

  • Initial Session: check, credit card

  • Follow-Up Sessions, Training Packages: check, credit card or bank account (via invoice), and cash

Payment for the Initial Session is due at the time of registration (unless the Owner prefers to pay by check). Payment for all other training services (Follow-Up Sessions and Training Packages) is due forty-eight (48) hours prior to the Owner's scheduled training session.

If the Owner prefers to pay by check, the Owner must submit a completed and signed TSA and inform the Company of this choice.

If a payment for a Follow-Up Session or Training Package is not received at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the session and no notice is given to the Company that the Owner needs to reschedule or cancel training services, the Owner forfeits their scheduled training session time and will need to reschedule their training session.

TRAVEL FEE

The Company services a 15 mile radius around Whitefish Bay, WI. If the Owner's address is outside of that 15 mile radius (service area), the Owner acknowledges that they may be charged a Travel Fee ($1.00 per 1 mile outside the service area). The Owner will be contacted by the Company if the Travel Fee is applicable and a invoice will be emailed to the Owner for the amount of the Travel Fee.

The Travel Fee is due forty-eight (48) hours prior to the Owner's scheduled training session. A Travel Fee is charged for the Initial Session and each session in a Training Package (it will be included in the cost of the Training Package).

Note: If the Owner wishes to figure out if a Travel Fee will be charged for their address, they can map out the distance between their address and "Whitefish Bay, WI" on Google Maps.

CANCELLATIONS

The Owner may postpone or cancel a training session at any time provided that twenty-four (24) hours of notice is given to the Company. The Owner understands and agrees that failure to provide this notice will result in a non-refundable Late Notice Fee of $50.00.

If the Owner elects to terminate training services prior to the start of the Initial Session, instead of rescheduling, all costs will be refunded (minus the Late Notice Fee, if applicable).

TERMINATION OF TRAINING SERVICES

The Owner of the dog(s) may have the dog withdrawn from training (terminate training services) at any time; however, once training has begun, all costs and fees are non-refundable.

The Company may choose to terminate training services at any time, as well. If the Company chooses this option, a reason will be supplied and a refund may be issued at the Company's discretion.

MISCELLANEOUS

The Owner will be responsible for purchasing any training equipment that the trainer deems necessary for training services. The Company reserves the right to substitute any aversive training equipment with approved training equipment during any training services.

The Owner is expected to follow any and all safety procedures as directed by the Company during training sessions. This responsibility includes supervising their dog before, during, and after all training services when near or in the designated training area in order to maintain the safety of all animals and humans participating or involved in the event, class, or session. Additionally, the Company reserves the right to terminate training services if the trainer determines that the Owner is not willing or is unable to comply with all safety procedures prescribed by the trainer.

DIGITAL MEDIA

The Owner consents to the use of photographs and video by the Company, which includes, but is not limited to, posting photographs and videos on SideKick Dog Training’s website, other social media outlets (Facebook, YouTube, etc.), or email messages.

Upon receipt of a completed TSA, the Owner will be subscribed to the SideKick Dog Training email list using the email provided during registration. The Owner may unsubscribe from the email list at any time.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I indemnify and hold the Company and Jennifer Prill harmless from any and all liability of any nature, which includes any injury, death, sickness, or damage my dog may suffer during or after any training services. I also agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and Jennifer Prill from any and all claims due to damage the dog may cause to any family members, any third parties, or property during or after training services.
